STAR-SPANGLED BANNER
Performed by The Soldiers’ Chorus of the United States Army Field Band. Founded in 1957, the Soldiers’ Chorus is the vocal component of The United States Army Field Band of Washington, DC. This mixed chorus travels throughout the nation and abroad, performing both independently and jointly with the Army Field Band’s Concert Band.

Performed by the U.S. Marine Band “The President’s Own” at the Chicago Symphony.

SPIRIT OF AMERICA Medley – West Point Band

STARS AND STRIPES FOREVER
“The President’s Own” United States Marine Band recorded John Philip Sousa’s march “The Stars and Stripes Forever” on March 3rd, 2009, in the John Philip Sousa Band Hall at Marine Barracks Annex in Washington, D.C. Includes an introductory history of the song.

COLUMBIA, the Gem of the Ocean
Performed by The Eric Rogers Chorale and Orchestra (lyrics included).

AMERICA
Performed by the Soldiers’ Chorus of The United States Army Field Band (lyrics included).

HAIL COLUMBIA
France and the United States were on the verge of war in the spring of 1798. To try to unify the Nation, Joseph Hopkinson (son of Francis Hopkinson, composer and signer of the Declaration of Independence) wrote the words of Hail, Columbia! and set them to the tone of The President’s March, said to have been composed by Philip Phile as Washington’s inaugural march (lyrics included).

BATTLE HYMN OF THE REPUBLIC
Performed by the United States Army Field Band.

HELLCATS
The USMA Band’s Hellcats perform at the Drum Corps International World Championships. If you haven’t seen them, you’re in for a treat. This video can be an entire program. At 9:45 and 14:00 the drummers show their amazing talents. It ends with the National Anthem.
