Kansas DAR Scholarships

The Scholarship Committee is pleased to announce educational funding opportunities from both KSDAR and NSDAR. The Kansas Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution is fortunate to have several scholarships to offer during the Bullock Administration, from 2025-2028.

The Kansas Society DAR Scholarship is awarded to a female high school senior, enrolled in an accredited high school, who is eligible or is already a member of DAR.

Chapter sponsorship is recommended.

Four written references are required.

The recipient will need to attend a two or four-year accredited college or university, in the fall after receiving the Kansas Society DAR Scholarship.

The Judd Smith Brooks Scholarship is an opportunity for a young man, who is a descendent of a proven DAR line, to receive a one-time scholarship of $1,000. Proof of enrollment in a two or four-year accredited college or university shall be required.

NSDAR Scholarships

The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution offers many scholarships for students pursuing a degree in fields of study including History, Economics, Medical, Nursing, and Elementary/Secondary Teacher Education.

Awards are based on academic excellence, commitment to the field of study, and/or financial need, or other restrictions on specific scholarships.
