Welcome!

Eunice Sterling Chapter formed October 21, 1896, when the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution was only six years old.

The chapter was named to honor the wife of Captain Abijah Sterling of New York and Connecticut, the ancestor of the Organizing Regent, Katherine Sterling Lewis.

Among the early members of the chapter were three of the seven Kansas Real Daughters -- women who were daughters of Revolutionary Patriots.

Eunice Sterling Chapter has always been involved in both civic and patriotic endeavors. The chapter was instrumental in securing the Sunflower Windows from Wichita's old Carnegie Library and placing them in the Kansas Chapel at DAR National Headquarters in Washington, D.C.

Eunice Sterling Chapter also initiated and continues the practice of supplying DAR Manuals for Citizenship to the federal court for use by those seeking U.S. citizenship. The chapter welcomes new citizens by presenting to them Flags of the USA.

Eunice Sterling Chapter holds regular meetings at noon on the fourth Friday of the month, September through May. Prospective members are very welcome. Please contact us at the link below for more information.
